Privacy
Short version: what you write in the editor stays in your browser. We don’t have accounts or use cookies; the newsletter is opt-in.
Who runs this site
oneshotprompts.com is run by Takayuki Hoffman. For any privacy question or request, email hello@oneshotprompts.com. Last updated October 15, 2026.
What you write stays on your device
The editor runs entirely in your browser. Your prompt, the words you choose and your settings are not sent to us or stored by us. “Copy prompt” only puts the text on your clipboard when you press it; where you paste it is up to you, and that service’s own privacy terms apply.
“Search by meaning” uses a small language model that your browser downloads from this site and runs on your device. Your searches are not sent anywhere. Your browser may keep the model and other files in its normal cache so the site loads faster next time.
Delivering the site
The site is hosted on our own server and delivered through Cloudflare. Like any website, this involves technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, your browser and the time, which our host and Cloudflare process to deliver pages, keep the site reliable and prevent abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers to fetch them. See Google’s privacy policy.
Measuring visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page speed. Cloudflare describes it as not using cookies or local storage and not fingerprinting visitors. We don’t use Google Analytics.
Links to other sites
Community posts link to the original posts on sites such as X. We don’t load those sites’ scripts or embeds on our pages; if you follow a link, that site’s privacy policy applies.
Advertising
There are no ads on the site at the moment. If we add Google ads later, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Before that happens we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. You can manage Google ad personalisation at My Ad Center and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Newsletter
If you join the newsletter, we send your email address to beehiiv, the service that stores the list and sends the emails, along with which form you used (for example the footer) so we know what works. You get a welcome email and then roughly one email a week. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. We never sell or share the list.
So the signup box doesn’t keep asking after you have joined, your browser remembers that you signed up (in its local storage, on your device only).
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and keep a record of the conversation. Emailing us doesn’t add you to the newsletter.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights and changes
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information about you; email us and we will help. Since we hold almost nothing beyond emails you send, most requests are simple. If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
