Terms of use
By using oneshotprompts.com you agree to these terms. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, email hello@oneshotprompts.com.
Using the site
The site is free to use. Please don’t try to break it, overload it or use it to harm others.
Your prompts are yours
Prompts you write in the editor are yours, and we never receive them. You can use them however you like, including in commercial work.
Our content
The technique definitions, live examples, prompt wording and the site itself are made by oneshotprompts. You are welcome to use our technique names, definitions and prompt wording in your own prompts and projects. Please don’t copy the library or the examples wholesale to publish elsewhere; link to the pages instead.
AI output
oneshotprompts writes prompts; it doesn’t run AI models for you. What a model makes from a prompt is up to that model and its provider, so results vary and we can’t promise any particular outcome. Check what you get before you rely on or publish it, and follow the terms of the AI service you use.
Community posts
Posts shown in Community belong to their creators. We show a title, a credit, a link to the original and our own prompt describing how to make something similar. If you made one and want it removed or changed, see Contact.
Trademarks
Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and other product names belong to their owners. They are mentioned to say which tools a prompt is written for; oneshotprompts is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. Last updated October 15, 2026.
